Gynecomasty surgery

Indicated for men who, by constitution or hormonal disorder, detect a breast augmentation.

First visit

In the first visit, the origin will be assessed and the pertinent study will be requested.

We will analyze your complete medical history

– Personal and family history.
– Diseases (hypertension, diabetes, pulmonary pathologies, etc.).
-Size, shape and firmness of the breast itself.

Conclusions and recommendations

From the analysis of your medical history we recommend:
-The type of procedure to be performed.

The surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation while the patient is in hospital during the day.

The duration is 1 hour. We make a small incision in the armpit, which allows removing the excess of glandular tissue, fat and skin. We close with stitch.

The first 24 hours

After a few hours of observation, patients will be discharged and will be allowed to go home following the surgeon’s instructions.

From the first week

After 7 days the stitch is removed. Patients will carry a compressive band for 1 month.

From the second week

During the first 15 days, avoid lifting weights and limit physical exercise. After a month patients will be able to recover their normal physical activity.
