From the analysis of your clinical history and your motivations, we recommend you:
-Type of operation to be carried out.
Surgical vertical incision in the area of the areola towards the submammary line. Surgery in the operating room, usually with general anesthesia. It lasts between 2 and 3.5 hours.
Surgical procedure in the area of the areola and the submammary line, removal of the mammary gland and its subsequent repositioning to get the adequate elevation. If necessary, a breast prosthesis will be placed when the existing breast volume is not enough to achieve the best result.
Patients will stay in the clinic with a suction drainage and an appropriate bandage. They will receive analgesic and antibiotic treatment.
Patients will be discharged with medication and following the instructions of the surgeon.
The appearance of an edema is normal, together with the pain sensation in low intensity, occasional pricking and tingling and burning sensations in the nipples, which will be treated with a mild analgesic.
The bandage is removed. Patients will use of a special bra for some days.
Patients come back to work rather quickly.
